Our rates are €45 per hour on Monday–Thursday and €48 per hour on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a 2-hour minimum booking time. The price is for the entire boat (up to 10 adult people or 12 if individuals are light/children) and is all-inclusive—there are no hidden fuel or service costs!
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks for weekends, for weekdays more last minutes bookings are available - feel free tomesssage / cWhatsApp to check!
We accept online payments via credit card, iDEAL, and bank transfer; this is directly available in the booking system (we use stripe for secure payments). If it's not possible for you to pay online in advance, due to reasons/no card/from a country where stripe doesnt work; you can also book by contacting the owner by whatsapp/message.
Our departure point is Jutfaseweg 30. There is free street parking on Sundays, and paid parking on other days; cheaper parking options are: . The location is just a 3-minute walk from Station Vaartsche Rijn, making it easily accessible by public transport.
Absolutely not! Our boat is designed for easy handling and doesn't require a license. We provide a quick but thorough 5-minute tutorial on steering, mooring, and canal rules before you depart, so you'll feel confident on the water.
The boat is certified for a maximum of 12 people. For the most spacious and comfortable experience with room to move around, we recommend groups of up to 10. The total weight limit is 960kg.
Swimming is allowed in designated areas only, particularly in the Amelisweerd nature area. We'll show you the best spots during your tutorial.
There is no toilet on the boat. We recommend using the public facilities at Station Vaartsche Rijn or at one of the many canalside cafes before or after your trip. For longer trips, we can point out convenient spots to moor for a restroom break.
Yes, please do! You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. An electric cooler is on board to keep everything chilled. You can bring alcohol, but we strictly enforce a sober captain policy—the driver must have a blood alcohol content of less than 0.5 promille.
Absolutely! We welcome decorations for birthdays, proposals, and other celebrations. Just avoid anything that could damage the boat or pollute the water.
Yes! We provide a Bluetooth speaker. Please keep volume reasonable to respect residents and other boaters.
Pets are welcome with prior approval. We recommend a life jacket for your furry friend, especially if they're not strong swimmers.
We have a Bimini top that protects 8 people from light rain. For heavy rain, you can reschedule or get a full refund. We monitor weather closely and follow official weather warnings for cancellations.
Yes, your safety is our priority. We provide standard life jackets for all passengers. We also have appropriately sized vests for children upon request. The boat is equipped with all necessary safety gear, including ropes, a first-aid kit, and an anchor.
Very safe! The boat is stable, moves slowly (max 6 km/h), and we have children's life jackets. Parents should always supervise children.
We provide detailed navigation maps and a phone number for assistance. The canals are well-marked, but we're always available to help!

If you want to explore nature you can also choose to go to Amelisweerd, it is possible to moor/park the boat there and have a picnic on a beautiful grass picnic field or eat pancakes at Theehuis Rhijnauwen (especially recommended if you have kids). For this route 3 hours is advised if you dont park, and 4 hours if you want to take your time.
You can also go to the griftpark; this is an adventurous route; the bimini needs to be completely down because of low bridges. Highlights are a small nature reserve called the Zilveren Schaats. If using this route do it in the beginning of the rental because the way back from the zilveren schaats takes 1:30 minutes. Book 3+ hours if you want to explore this.
You can also go South to Op Zuid where you can park the boat and possibly swim (at your own risk but lots of people do it) or even swim at the Munt (also popular for locals). Please note that the water of Utrecht is not the cleanest, dont go swimming with open wounds!
